Preliminary Discussion leading to the January 31 meeting

as this meeting will focus on WP1 InfrastructureDev these idea should focus there

• What should the primary purpose of the infrastructure be? From there, what process should this define the requirements of this infrastructure?
  • Perhaps these requirements should be primarily driven by the communication needs of the other components of the system.
    1. protocols to enable tools to pass information between each other
    2. protocols to enable OmrasCollaborators to interact with complex (yet flexible) sets of tools
    3. protocols to facilitate OmrasEvaluation to interact with the above (perhaps as a sort of special case of OmrasCollaborators)
• What other needs are present to drive development?
  • client/server workload sharing (allotting?) issues
  • DRM and related legal issues surrounding content and content access

clearly this is simply a starting point.  Please expand with your own thoughts and ideas.
